Yvonne Leon

Born and raised into a family of jewellers , Yvonne Leon was brought up surrounded by state-ofthe-art jewels. It was only natural that this would inspire her to create her own jewellery collection.  After completing her diploma at the greatly acclaimed ESMOD school in Paris, she honed her skills working for the editorial department of one of the world's leading fashion magazines.  After having gained a lot of experience in this field, Yvonne embarked her career as a jewellery maker with a more fashionable and innovative approach to jewellery design.  Yvonne's passion for "Vintage" is her main inspiration in the development of her designs. Her collection of family jewellery boxes to her love of antique fairs and flea markets is what creates her talent of adding a vintage touch to each of her unique modern designs.  More than just an homage to the past, her collections reflect her original and prodigious talent in jewellery making. Variety, accumulation and combination are her key words to her revamped "traditional" designs.  This process of reexploring classic designs becomes her trademark as she only works with 18 carat gold and precious stones carefully selected in her workshop.   Yvonne designs each piece for an active woman wearing vivianes on their fingers, fishbones on their ears or feuilletis as necklaces...  Furthermore, Yvonne breaks new ground in the jewellery field as she creates the "Les Dessous de l'Oreille", literally meaning "the Under Ear", which invigorates woman's femininity, elegance and originality. This earring consists of a line of diamonds which gracefully lies under the earlobe.   An incredibly fun and engaging side of her work is seen in her series of wild animals , such as owls, seahorses, and felines, giving her woman a wilder side, which skilfully enhances and completes her collection.   Many of her models appear regularly in major magazines worldwide and are available to buy in stores around the world...
